The Etobicoke Community Concert Band offers a new season of exuberant music.
For the 2010-11 season, this audience-pleasing community band will share
the stage with outstanding guest performers — leading Canadian choirs and
instrumentalists, including one of Canada’s finest jazz guitarists.
Our sensational talent and enthusiasm will fill a musical cornucopia rightat your doorstep with a powerful special presentation by
Canada’s largest community concert band, angelic holiday favorites,
finger-snapping Vegas Nights, and flag-waving British themes. In our upcoming

one of this city’s most entertaining ensembles.

BANDING TOGETHER

October 17, 2010

At a special 2pm matinee performance, we will be Banding Together with
the finest conductors and players from across the province and beyond to
create Ontario’s biggest, most exciting concert band experience. With
a program including beautiful melodies such as the classic Shenandoah,
hits from the Broadway show Oklahoma, stirring themes from Pictures at
an Exhibition, and much more, the mega-band will show off the power
and subtlety capable with this great art form. And we’ll cap it off with a
thrilling presentation of Tchaikovsky’s celebration of the victory for
peace in the motherland, the 1812 Overture, with special guests
manning the artillery!
